The People of Japan Need our Support

Providing Vibrational Positive Energy to Japan

I feel that it is time for all Amegans to give our brothers and sisters in Japan vibrational support.  In the coming days, if every person who has an  AMWand™ wands the air around them, projects their love to the survivors and includes them in our prayers; our love, energy and support will be felt in Japan regardless of where we live.

It is up to us, in their time of despair and need, to help provide energy and support.

What do You Want for Christmas?

Christmas Wish List ~ Providing Hope!

As I was sitting here this morning thinking I didn’t need a rotten cold for Christmas, it hit me like a lightening bolt that I am so fortunate, not to have the cold, but to have Hope that it will not only go away but knowing I have a warm home, people who love me, food, freedom and many other of God’s gifts that we take for granted every day.

Throughout the world, there are people oppressed, starving, deathly ill without a chance of recovery, no medications to ease the pain, and worst of all, No Hope ~ No Hope that anyone will care that they didn’t make it through the night or day, No Hope that someone will be there to take care of their children when they are gone and No Hope that their children will not contract what they have and die as well or die of starvation.

It is beyond my understanding, try as I might, what it must be like to wake up in the morning just realizing that you are alive another day but Without Hope that today will be any better than yesterday and No Hope that you may even be alive tomorrow.  This is reality to too many of our brothers and sisters world wide and, as human beings with so-called intelligence; it defies logic why this Hopelessness cannot be alleviated one person or village at a time.

We do not even have to leave our own city let alone country to encounter people who just survive each day and Hope is not in their vocabulary.

Sharing My Struggle with Fibromyalgia

My Coping Strategies for Fibromyalgia

I feel strongly that each person has to learn what is best for them in coping with Fibromyalgia.  Different people have different struggles with the symptoms and the severity of them.

While I find that the pain associated with my Fibromyalgia is a definite problem, it is truly the brain fog that affects my life in the most dramatic of ways.  When I am unable to focus properly or forget things, it is so annoying that sometimes I become angry and that only serves to increase the effect of the brain fog.

I am a very independent person and, when I am unable to walk out the door and get in the car and drive where I want to go, it is frustrating.

Because of the Fibromyalgia, often if I go with someone else, I still don’t accomplish what I wanted to do as my brain isn’t functioning the way it should so it is hard to make decisions.

It is like my life is put on hold because I am unable to do things I planned on doing so I find that it takes more time to accomplish things.  What I normally would have done in a day I find that it can be a day or two before I am able to complete them.

When there are deadlines on what I want to do, such as a practice for our singing group, I have to cancel and then catch up later.  In this way, I feel that Fibromyalgia robs me of the choice to do what I have to do or want to do and the brain fog decides when it will be done; it’s no longer just my choice. Learning about Fibromyalgia

What is Fibromyalgia?   What can Help?

This morning I decided to scour the internet for information about Fibromyalgia.  It is discouraging but not surprising that so much of the information is repetitive.  I will share what I have found.

Characteristics of Fibromyalgia

Pain is the most distinguishing characteristic of Fibromyalgia.  Medically, it’s described as generalized musculoskeletal aches, pain and stiffness.  For the pain to be diagnosed as Fibromyalgia, it has to be present in all four body quadrants (arms and legs) for at least 3 months, and there has to be pain when pressure is applied to at least 11 of the 18 identified trigger points. The most common sites of pain include the neck, back, shoulders, pelvic girdle, and hands, but any body part can be affected.

The second most disabling characteristic of Fibromyalgia is fatigue.

Fibromyalgia is an invisible disease.  Sufferers look fine on the surface.  However, under their outward appearance, they are often exhausted and in excruciating pain.

Many Fibromyalgia sufferers are distressed by associated mental and emotional problems that manifest themselves alongside the physical ailments. Anxiety and depression are common.  People also complain of confusion, experiencing difficulty thinking clearly and a reduction in ability to perform mental tasks. This overall mental fogginess has been termed “fibro fog.”

Amega Global Products Help Arthritis

Arthritis Relief from Amega Global

Today I have decided to concentrate on how Amega Global products help me with my Arthritis.  I will provide more information about help from Fibromyalgia and Arthritis in future posts.

As anyone with Arthritis knows, the main factors are pain and fatigue.  For me, I believe that the fatigue is caused by living with the pain of Arthritis and not getting a good sleep at night because of it.

Until 5 years ago, I think that I have tried almost every anti-inflammatory that has been produced in the last 20 years with the only result being that I am unable to take them.  Therefore, 5 years ago I stopped trying new ones and managed the pain with Tylenol 2 and Tylenol 3.

Since April when I was introduced to Amega Global, I have been able to stop taking my prescription medication for Arthritis and take very few over the counter pain killers.

Using the Amega AMWand, I have been able to help reduce or alleviate the pain without medications.

I use the AMWand in two different ways to help my body fight the pain.  I wand my energy centres starting at the top of my head then I move to the painful areas.  I do two different things with the wand ~ I hold it on a particularly painful spot until the pain in that area subsides and I also wand the area.  I find holding the wand steady on a painful spot (when I can pinpoint a specific place) works wonders for me.

The other way that I use the wand after doing my energy centres, is to wand the area in clockwise circles over the painful area usually in multiples of 3 and point, however, I will sometimes go to 9 and point as well.  I can feel my body responding to the zero point energy in the wand so I know which way to use the AMWand to help alleviate the Arthritis pain.

Another Amega Global product I use for pain is the bio-magnetic bracelet.  I have one on my left wrist and I also wear one on my right ankle.  These bracelets help to increase the circulation in my body ~ my blood circulates 4 times faster with the help of the bracelets without increasing the blood flow to my heart.

I have found that the bio-magnetic products have worked very well for me in dealing with the pain of Arthritis.

If you have Arthritis, I encourage you to look into these products as they have certainly made my life easier and less painful.  Please contact me with any questions you may have about how Amega Global products can help you with Arthritis.

Sharing the Wonder of Amega Therapeutic Oil

The Wonder of Amega Therapeutic Oil

With the flu and cold season quickly coming upon us, I want to share a couple of discoveries I have come across using Amega Therapeutic Oil.

I remember listening to a call where another associate was extolling the virtues of the Therapeutic Oil as well as the EGA massage oils.  One thing that she mentioned that made my ears perk up was that she used it on abrasions and other types of skin irritations.

I usually get the annual flu shot and every time I have a sore and stiff arm for about 4 days afterwards.  I guess that is a small price to pay for not getting the actual flu but I decided to try something this year to see if I could reduce the side effects.  After receiving my flu shot (there are 3 strains of flu that are in the vaccination this year) and returning to the car, I immediately took off my jacket and rolled the Amega Therapeutic Oil over the site of the injection.  I also used the Amega AMWand and wanded the area.

I had a few errands to do on the way home so, when I stopped, I wanded the area each time.  When I arrived home, I put the Therapeutic Oil on my arm again and kept wanding it during the evening.  My arm did not have the stiffness and soreness that it usually did and by the next morning, my arm felt like it did on the 4th day after having the injection, that is to say, the discomfort was almost non-existent.  I used the Therapeutic Oil and AMWand that day as well and by the following day, my arm was fine.
