Last year, our group performed Michael Jackson’s song Thriller in the Phantom of the Pipes concert. This year, we are doing excerpts from the Addams Family Musical. We have had a lot of fun getting this 43 page piece of music ready for Saturday night the 29th of October.

We will be performing in Fort Massey United Church ~ the church is more gothic than many of the churches in Europe. The Addams Family Musical will fit right in with the gargoyles, bats and webs.

This year, we have managed to learn all the words to the different songs in the musical making it easier to click our fingers and move around. The costumes have been fun getting them together.  Thing will also join us on the stage.

It was a challenge for me to find clothes that would be something that Grandma Addams would wear. After about 6 weeks of practice, we have finally been able to pull it together and have a lot of fun performing the musical.

The Addams Family are certainly different and definitely are on the black side in actions and opinions.

Our group of 7 is made up of altos, second sopranos and first sopranos.  It has been quite the challenge remembering when what voice is supposed to come in. We have had many practices where we would end up in giggles then pull ourselves together to salvage the evening practice.

If you are familiar with some of the music from the Addams Family, you will know that much of it is bizarre as well as rather blood thirsty. I have found myself singing some of the lines from parts of the musical when I am out and about, then I realize, that people will think that I must be a lunatic; so I stop. Other members of the group had similar experiences as we worked hard at memorization.

Please wish us good luck as we do the performance tomorrow evening ~ hopefully we will remember the words and enjoy ourselves. It is very different performing in front of a church full of people compared to practice.

In my last post, I indicated that I had used my AMWand and Brine to help take away the pain from a tooth that had suddenly become very sensitive to touch and seemed to be lossening.  I am very happy to say that the tooth has been fine since.

My husband had surgery on his gums a number of years ago and the surgeon did not do a particularly good job.  Unfortunately now, rather than having the gums too high on his teeth, the gums are receding and more of the tooth is exposed.

A couple of weeks ago, he woke up with a severe toothache in the area of the surgery.  When I looked, I could see the beginning of the large roots and that they were exposed to the point of being able to see through them.

We were out to church and shortly after J.F. said that his tooth was aching to the point that we should go home.  When we arrived home, I put Therapeutic Oil on his cheek and wanded the area.  Next, I put the Brine right on the aching tooth and he held it in his mouth before swallowing.  Next, he laid down with his AMPendant on his cheek.  When he got up, the pain was gone.  It has not returned. 

It is amazing how using these Amega Global products in inventive ways can help our bodies to heal themselves.

I use my AMPendant to help stop a headache from forming by placing it on my temple and holding it there.  It has never failed to help my body get rid of the pain.

I don’t like anything around my neck at night so I remove my AMPendant and place it on an area of my body that is hurting or is tender.  I find that putting the AMPendant on my neck helps relieve the stiffness.  I usually use the Therapeutic Oil before putting the AMPendant on the spot.

Last Sunday my husband woke up with a toothache.  It was one of the teeth where a periodontist had cut back the gums a number of years ago and now you can see through the largest root as the tooth is being exposed.

I used the AMWand healing tool to wand his cheek and tooth area then had him take 10 drops of the Amega Global Brine and hold it in his mouth on the tooth ~ it was rather awkward as the tooth was at the back on the top.  He held it there for a couple of minutes then swallowed the Brine.

After that, it wasn’t throbbing as it had been when he got up.  He went to lie down and he put his Amega Global AMPendant on his cheek and fell asleep with it on his cheek. 

When he woke up, the pain was gone.  We put more Amega Global Brine on the tooth before he went to bed and it was fine the next day.

The week before that he had cut his hand at the base of the thumb quite deeply and had 3 stitches put in it at emergency.  The doctor there told him to use Polysporin and keep it covered, which he did.  When he changed the bandage I told him he should use Therapeutic Oil instead of the Polysporin but he decided to do what the doctor recommended.

The night before he was to get his stitches out, I asked him to let me look at his hand.  It was red where the stitches were and at both ends of the cut.  I indicated that I didn’t think he would be getting his stitches out with that amount of redness.   I used the AMWand healing tool on his hand.

We put Amega Global Therapeutic Oil with zero point energy on the cut including the stitches and, when he went to the doctor, the cut had lost the redness and he was able to remove the stitches.

The Amega Global Therapeutic Oil outperformed the Polysporin hands down.  He used the Polysporin for 6 days and the Therapeutic Oil overnight and that is when the major healing took place.

I find that it is hard to believe that it is almost mid-August.  In just over a month, we will move from Summer to Fall.

Unlike many people, I do not dream of hot sunny days.  I prefer colder temperatures and less humidity.  My favourite season is Fall ~ I could very easily enjoy having it all year round.  That wonderful nip in the air and the changing of the wind from the southwest to northeast.

This summer has been very wet in Atlantic Canada.  I wouldn’t be surprised if we have broken records for the amount of rain that has fallen.  In the last two weeks, we had 68 mm in about 6 hours of violent thunderstorms and we had 100 mm just the other day.  To say that everything is very green is an understatement.

The many lakes in Dartmouth are usually down a bit and you can see rocks and grass along the shore line that are covered with water or ice the remainder of the year.  However, the lakes are extremely high and the brooks and rivers are rushing because of the volumes of water that have landed in them.

It is interesting to see what flowers and plants thrive when the weather is wet and cooler than normal.

I planted pots of Impatiens and put them on the patio this summer along with herbs for cooking.  These plants obviously love the weather; they are thriving and growing quickly.

On the other hand, I potted geraniums in 3 pots at the same time and they have not done well at all.  I guess they require a warmer summer with less rain.

We have more hummingbirds this year than we usually get.  One is extremely curious ~ she comes over to the large window in the kitchen and hovers up and down looking in as we are looking out.

We also had visits from Northern Flickers and enjoyed watching them with their colourful plumage. 

That is one aspect of summer I enjoy ~ the many varieties of birds that visit our back yard.

In order for our bodies to stay healthy and pain free, we have to pay attention to the energy within us and around us.

When we are born, our bodies are perfectly balanced with a PH of approximately 7.2 and our energy vibration is in alignment.  From that point onward, what we eat and drink plus outside factors alters both our PH level and energy levels.

If our bodies are balanced energy wise, there is no room for dis-ease. Every part of the body is working in harmony with the other parts protecting us.
